Jessica Jones, Resident in Counseling
Sometimes, life just doesn’t go the way we expect it to. Sometimes, we need a little help figuring out how to navigate or how to become un-stuck. I believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” therapy, therefore I use many different therapeutic techniques.
I frequently pull techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and existential therapy. In our work together, we can identify ways to cope with the challenges that life can sometimes throw our way. My specialty areas include working with kids and teenagers who struggle with academic challenges, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and oppositional behaviors.
It can be hard to fit ‘one more thing’ into your life- that is why you can schedule with me online or by calling. I offer weekend and evening hours. Additionally, virtual or in person session are available.
