Devon Viar, Resident in Counseling
Devon is a compassionate and creative therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. With an integrative approach grounded in person-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies, Devon tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. She blends evidence-based practices with play, art, games, and music to create a supportive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate space. Whether through hands-on activities with younger children or deeper conversations with teens and young adults, Devon helps clients build insight, develop coping skills, and work toward emotional healing.
Devon supports a wide range of concerns, including emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, self-esteem, executive functioning, social difficulties, and life transitions. When appropriate, she works collaboratively with clients and their families, recognizing that progress is most effective when the whole support system is involved. Devon regularly partners with caregivers, offering guidance, reassurance, and tools to navigate the ups and downs of parenting. Known for her warm, down-to-earth style, Devon builds strong relationships with clients, helping them feel seen, safe, and supported. She believes that therapy is a collaborative journey—and that even small steps can lead to meaningful change.
Whether you or your child is navigating a challenging season or seeking ongoing support, Devon looks forward to walking alongside you.
